Alright, so I forgot to write about this right after we went on the run but it's been a busy couple of weeks and Michael wouldn't let me use the computer.
On Saturday December 30th I (and Michael) participated in the MMorg Waco Run and it was a blast.
Michael had properly cleaned me on Friday in preparation for the event and we headed out to the Galleria at 6:30am on Saturday morning. I was ready to go but Michael was still a bit sleepy and there was no way he was getting Susan up that early so she stayed, slug-like, in bed.
We met up with Jack Azzurri, Maverick and their humans GoodFinder, Sue, Melanie and Suji and then started the first run to Burleson for breakfast.
All the pictures can be found here but here are some hilights.
After gathering at the Denny's for breakfast

we headed over to to a nearby parking lot to talk and get ready for the run to Glen Rose.

The initial run included five cars that were quickly overtaken by the "sprited" group although we managed to stay together after that.

Once in Glen Rose we stopped for some monkey flinging (the humans did this, we MINI's have higher standards).

and some talking (with proper MINI cleaning before the next run)

and started the next leg of the run

Which took two hours. My dumb human didn't make a pit stop at the Exxon and had to abandon his group 20 miles out from Waco and we ended up going a bit fast in order to catch up.

Fortunately other people were playing interference for us and no cops saw us doing this. Unfortunately weren't able to maintain this speed as we (figuratively) ran into other more slow-moving traffic.
Shortly after, we hit Waco and stopped with the others for more chatter

Before Michael had to bail to try to get to Ft Worth to meet wifey and some friends at the Hatshepsut exhibit.
The run was a lot of fun and I hope I can convince Michael to take me to another one soon.
