I got there well before them and snagged a place in the tent outside up front next to the stage and listened to some good music while waiting. Increasingly my feet were moving about and I really wanted to get up and dance but didn't want to go solo.
Once Susan and Andi arrived we started leaping about to the music and cheers from the crowd. While it seemed that much of the crowd were post-college yuppie types that wouldn't know an Irish pub if they went in one (which presumably they might have been in at some point if they went into that pub next to the tent) they seemed to appreciate the dancing even if they weren't particularly friendly toward the band.
We stayed past time for the band to close up shop and they even played an extra song for the audience and set of reels so we could dance one last time. A few dancers from Hibernia were there toward the end and we managed to fit in a six-hand and four-hand before the night was over
