Dragon's Eye News

On our morning ralk (combination run and walk as we alternate between the whole time) we ran across a pretty flower.

Of course, the point of the ralk is to make a little dog very happy. Well, and get a bit of exercise of course.

This day was full of interesting things. I stayed home from work so Susan and I would have plenty of time to play before heading off to see David Sedaris in the evening.

We ran across a tree that's going to make a bridge soon.

and a sign for someone wanting to be - or remain - on the school board. Is she the apple or is she the worm?

Saturday was a gorgeous day outside. Susan and I spent the day on the patio, studying dances and looking up information on St. Thomas while Chip lounged about in the Sun.

I was playing around with night vision goggles last night, thinking that I might do a series of the world through NVGs. I'm not sure I've got enough different material for a series but the first few images were fun.

Starting with a view of our Pistacio tree.

I then stalked our puppy through the goggles.

And stopped with a shot near the patio.

It was a nice full day on Saturday.

It started out slowly, as most do, with Chip lounging and munching on a bone.

Eventually we went over to the Watters Creek shopping center to wander around with the boy and see about getting a coffee and place to people-watch.

There was a pretty duck. Loads of people, a few dogs and so on.
