I had the chance to borrow some night vision goggles from work and played around in my lab. The lab was very dimly lit by a blue light just above this station and a few LEDs from the laptop and hologram controller on the other side of the room. Without the NVGs I could just barely see well enough to get around in the room as long as the main walking areas were clear of obstructions.
