Hello Has anyone used the PFG-01 film for reflection holograms. I have everything I need for holography except the film and developer and I have just found a suplyer of slavich film in the UK. I have read that the PFG-03M film is difficult to expose and develope and I would like to know if PFG-01 is any better. Thanx

hello kristan, i'm using the pfg 01 03m and bb plates. the pfg 01 is as good as agfa and have the same developer and exposure time. the gfg 01 is much faster (shorter exposure timo) than the bb-plates or pfg o3m. it is a good experience to start with pfg 01. BUT pfg 01 is not as sharp as the bb-plates or pfg 03m. 132.187.248.15

Kristian, I have a roll (20m) of PFG-01 if you want to buy it from me. The price: cheap. contact me at rorasmu@online.no 130.67.15.242

Yes, I've used 01 for reflections and have had good success. But it's not as bright as 03. Check my site out for processing tips on the 03 plates/films. It's really quite easy, just use a circular agitation motion in the tray by grabbing a corner of the plate or film, instead of back and forth or up and down. And only agitate for 2 seconds per 30 seconds. http://www.3dimagery.com/films.html 209.122.205.93

Hi, I've used PFG-01. It is as good if not better than AGFA. And at around $2-$3 dollars per piece, it's worth a shot. Good luck! 209.179.148.238

Hello fellow holographers, I am in need of some information about the intricate chemistry of hologram processing. By intricate chemistry I mean the actual chemical reactions taking place, the physical changes that take place within the emulsion, and the signficance of each stage of the developing process. I am writing a formal report to accompany a final presentation of a modern physics application lab. If anyone can help me, I would be as grateful as humanly possibly. Email me @ : riddleman@aol.com or if you have AOL, IM me Thank you, Dave 155.31.71.147
