Holographic Interferometry

I have got a small question. In double exposure holographic interferometry we are getting fringes (frozen) Is these fringes are contours of constant surface displacent or contours of constant optical path difference. If constant surface displacement for a particular loading these fringes should be same for all experimental setup. But the fringeshape is changing with change in setup parameters.

i got black lines (i call it), but only if my exposure time is long. with batteries i can do longer exposertimes without the black lines, as with a power supply. TimoJunker@holografie.com 132.187.3.122

If these fringes are contoured over the surface of your object, then they show that the surface has changed shape. If the fringes are just running through your image parallel to each other, then your not using the correct s or p polarization in your reference beam. In that case, if your reference beam hits the plate from the side (instead of overhead or underneath), your laser polarization should be vertical or s type. If it's overhead or underneath reference, the polarization should be p type. 209.122.205.93

p type being horizontal. Sorry about that. 209.122.205.93

do you know where i can rent or purchase a holography to use for a school project in the state of virginia? 216.192.188.37

Jane: you can call me at 703.573.0935 and we can see what we can work out at my lab. I'm in Vienna, VA. 216.164.237.206

read Abramson : "the making and evaluation of holograms" academic press. Interpreting fringes is not as easy as it seems!!! nick 212.1.154.223

Is the government using Holography to map the body and to interfer with nerve pulse operations, trying to control the human body and mind:? 198.76.220.90

The erase control in our holographic interferometer is not working. The manual says that the thermoplastic plate is to be heated to 90c with a white ligth.Since this is not working can i heat the thermoplastic plate by some other means .. like in an oven at 90c ? 157.182.196.230
