How toxic are the chemicals we use for development and bleaching the holographic film. Especial the potasium dichromate.

I have had some expirience (please excuse my spelling) with dichromate. It's not one of the greatest chemicals in the world. When I used it (for coating dichromate plates, I used gloves, the basic saftey steps. If you don't touch, or drink it, you should be ok. For begginers, I think you should get some help. Other chemicals, such as EDTA or RCA, are not bad at all. You can get them on your hands, if you don't mind the smell. GOOD LUCK 209.179.149.151

IIRC, all dichromates are not only highly poisonous, but carcinogenic. See http://www.watsons.edin.sch.uk/sserc/HazChem/ctod/40.htm Take care, Jens. 192.6.76.68
