Holography: Intricate Chemistry

Hello fellow holographers, I am in need of some information about the intricate chemistry of hologram processing. By intricate chemistry I mean the actual chemical reactions taking place, the physical changes that take place within the emulsion, and the signficance of each stage of the developing process. I am writing a formal report to accompany a final presentation of a modern physics application lab. If anyone can help me, I would be as grateful as humanly possibly. Email me @ : [email protected] or if you have AOL, IM me. Thank you - Dave

Dave, 1st, once you bleach the plates during processing, the brown color covering the emulsion disappears. So you have to watch your bleach temp. 2nd, if you use sulfuric acid in your bleach, be careful. The ignition temp. is very high. Your D-19 could be contaminated. I will e-mail you with a more detailed report. But it will have to wait until Monday 9-17-00 207.160.161.212
