I just bought a spctra Physics Argon laser head. It puts out 75 mW @ 488nm. It is air cooled. That's my problem, is there a way to use an air cooled argon is holography? What if i mounted the fan, 125cfm, above the head, floating seperatly? That would eliminate movement of the head caused by the fan being mounted on the laser itself. Any thoughts?

does it have on board powersupply too what does the fan cool exactly???? 208.61.0.186

The power supply is seperate from the argon head. The head has a hole in the center for the fan. It is directly above the tube. The fan is approx. 100 cfm.

What if you just mounted the laser off of the optics table? I don't think that the laser needs to be stable (vibration wise) and that would keep it from vibrating the rest of the table. 207.225.102.202

do a interferometer test on table and off but the fan mounted on the tube will still vibrate isolate the fan from the tube off table should do it

Hi I know this letter is a little late.
My laser set off the table and worked fine, the only thing I worried about was the object to film movemint. 128.252.149.212
