I have a power supply for a Spectra Physics HeNe laser, but no tube. The old one cracked - a disaster. Does anyone have such a laser for sale? I do not need the power supply of course.

I may be interested, I paid between 4 and 500 dollars for the Powersupply a couple of years back. The Powersupply delivers 13kV starup pulse, then 11mA adjustable current. Note that this voltage is directly dangerous, care must be taken when connecting. This is not a toy! Unfortunatly the powersupply does not have the Allen connector, but they are quite cheap. Input is 110 or 220 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz. You may want to E-mail me at vhegdal@techsoft.no for more details, I can make a digital photo of this unit if you like. I may also consider swapping this unit for a spatial filter.

I have a laser like you're talking about. The tube is intact, maybe out of alignment and could use a regassing. The cheapest estimate I got was $250 to refurbish the tube.
