I found another source of a safelight: There are now L.E.D.s that emit light in the green/blue spectrum their frequency is 525 nm. I picked up a couple from all electronics their web address is http://www.allcorp.com The LED's P/N is LED-57. Althought I cannot guarantee that their frequency is 525 nm, I have seen the spectrum of frequencies available, and they are not the the greenish blue, the blue, or the yellowish green. I have used them with great success I have 7 pointing Up to diffuse the light, but if I weren't so lasy, I prob. could have gotten away with 3-4 with a piece of scotch tape as a diffuser. An added benefeit, LEDs burn for 20,000 hours or more. If I spend 20,000 hours in my darkroom in a lifetime, then I may have to replace them. I'll worry about that in 15 or 20 years.

Ok, I just read a post here about never using a 525 nm green led for a safelight. Followed the advice, put up a red filter and saw tons of red.
If anyone read this post before I caught my error, I am truly, truly sorry.
A Green and blue filter diminished the red intensity to near nothing, but I wonder if that's still too much.
