Single beam H1 master and H2 copy

Has anyone out there ever attempted to do a single beam H1 transmission master, and a single beam h2 copy? I thought I might use a mirror as the object beam to illuminate my h1 master. Also, With PFG-01 film, and jd-2 processing, can I expect shorter exposures for a transmission hologram?

How would you make the reference beam for the copy? 64.167.149.200

I spent some time thinking about this. I think it works. The geometry is kind of tricky. Large 1/4 wave mirrors are very expensive for a less expinsive alternative try: http://www.imagesco.com/catalog/holography/HolographySupplies01.html I bought 3 6x7 inch mirrors and had a glass cutter cut two of them into smaller mirrors. He traded me his labor for a hologram. 64.167.149.200

I'm going to give a H1 master a shot soon. The only difficulty I forsee is that I don't know if I Can use stop bath and fixer in lieu of bleach with pfg-01 an jd-2 dev. If I remember correctly, an ideal transmission hologram requires some diffraction as well as refraction. I'll keep us posted 64.63.88.51

An easy way of making a singlebeam Master and Copy is to use Graham Saxby's By-pass configuration. Try it, it's simple and effective. 62.66.239.34
