I was doing research on "old-fashion" interferometry when I came across the "New Age" interferometry, which is done on the computer. To transfer the interference pattern into the computer, you use a security camera (ccd) and then special software calculates the pattern and displays different charts and graphs. My question is: How does the Security Camera record the fringe pattern and then accurately send it to the computer? What am i missing?

The fringe pattern need to exceed the pixel width or the camera is unusable. This is easy in a interferometer but not in a hologram. It only needs to detect fringe movement. This is how active stabilization works. It takes the signal from a interferometer and moves a mirror by the proper amount to keep the fringes stable to 1/100 of a fringe. 64.167.148.84

I was doing research on holography , My question is HOW COLOR CAN BE USED TO VERIFY THE AUTHENTICITY OF A HOLOGRAM IN CREDIT CARD ? 203.124.2.40
