Hello, Would you recomend using pyrochrome process with Red Star Ultra film? Or do you have better results with Agfa Holotest 8E75? I have the Pyrochrome developer already should I get the Agfa one, and where can I get it? thanx, M.

Hello Mariana, I use the folowing recept for Red star film. Developer: (A) Pyro about 2,5 gram in 200ml water. ( look out poison ) (B) Sodium sulfite anhydrous 24 gram in 200ml water. Add solution (A) and (B) before development together. Develope until black. Bleach: (C) sulfiric acid ( 37%solution ): 12ml in 400ml water. (D) potassium dichromate: ( look out poison )2 gram. Add (C) and (D) together. Bleach until clear. Before prossesing the film use TEA to change the colour of the hologram: about 55 ml TEA in 400ml water look add my site for results www.holography.nl success, 194.134.193.16

Hello, I have acquired Red Start Ultra (red sensitive) holographic film and I wish to know if is possible to use AGFA RODINAL and AGEFIX to processing this film. If these product don't work, which other products could I use to process this film? 212.171.251.14

I was just informed by a reliable holographic film dealer (Laser Reflections) that Red Star is the same as PFG-01 so any of the PFG-01 processing schemes would work just as well. 64.167.149.151
