Is there anyone knows how to produce multiple spots by using a hologram. Is there anyway to use Mathcad to write CGH program?

If you have a strong math background you can read the 2nd and 3rd apendicies in Optical Holography by Hariharan. It is easiest if you understand the Fourier Transform. But it is posible even with a high school math background. For anything other than a point or a few points the data becomes very large so there have been developed methods to reduce the amount of data involved. Hariharan's chapter 10 gives a great overview of the methods and references to many of the pertinent research papers. Your next problem becomes how to get the data out of the computer and on to a display medium. It is often said holography is at the place photography was before Edison. The person who solves this problem will likely take us past that point. 63.193.192.198

I had a page book marked that has to do with Math CAD and holograms. The development is in French but since most of it is math it is fairly readable. There is a note on the page saying it is being discontinued so if you want it check it out soon.

The above URL has a space in horiaclaude that needs to be removed. 63.193.192.198
