Skin thickness in LEOTdeflection equation

Colin,

In the equation you posted for deflection, one of the quantities in it is the thickness of the skins. Does that mean we plug in the thickness of one skin or is it the total thickness of both skins added together?

The general description on the LEOT page implies that you plug in the thickness of one skin but the equation only uses that number once.

If you have a local mirror of the LEOT site, look on this page.

Unfortunately the dewtronics mirror has been taken down. I'll have to see if I have space on my site for a more private mirror of LEOT.

I could burn a CD of it. The value is for a single thickness. Remember the equation units are in feet not inches. If you want to change the units go carefully and make sure you understand the values. Like Michael and I found out.
