For a look at my latest holograms, visit:

http://www.dragonseye.com/holography/guests/tonybrockfisher/index.html#mar212004

These were all made in the 1'x2' 'holocamera'. It has been improved by epoxying a 16 guage steel plate to the surface and converting all mounts to magnets.

Thanks to Michael Harrison for the use of his web space!

I noticed in one of your setups you were using a diode laser with a spatial filter. How did it compare to using a HeNe? Were you circularizing the beam?

diode with filterMarch 22 2004, 5:59 PM

Colin-

I don't think I ever used a spatial filter with the laser diode. I converted to the Hene quite a while back, I think before I got going with the spatial filter. I did think the diode had less 'dynamic range' than the Hene - that's one reason I'm sticking with the Hene.
