• 8:31 am: waiting for breakfast. So far, our host hasn't come out of her
kitchen although we can smell food and hear her moving about. Do we knock? We've
tried making noise but she still hasn't appeared. Susan is reading her book and
I'm making notes (obviously) while waiting for our host to make an appearance.
• We found out later that her daughter had broken her leg not too long ago and
our host had to take her to school. She'd been hoping that nobody would come
down while she was out.
• 11:51 am: wandering Ennis. bought music & stuff @ crustys. Susan bought a new
tipper and I bought a whistle (a new two-piece doolin) and a dance tape that
Catherine had recommended.
• 2:02 pm: Leaving Ennis
• 4:19 pm: Limerick, cruises cafe getting a sandwich and mocha, returned phone
card. Fortunately we didn't have any problems at the store where we bought the
card.
• 6:00 pm: Heather, dancing 6:30-8 at UL. Heather is a friend of Catherine's who
is taking part in the masters program at UL. The four of us went to their
regular Thu class and Susan and I learned a new step from Oi?fe (pronounce eefa)
• 8:46 pm: Dolins pub with Catherine, Chuck, Heather, Susan & me. Had fish &
chips, shared oysters with the group and had two guinnies.
• (later) back at Chuck and Catherine's talking about the trip and going through
all the loot we bought.
• Got to sleep about 2am
